Ever since the beginning of the Cold War the US has started an advanced placement program to compete with the geniuses of the soviet union. AP classes are college level courses for high school students to get a feeling of what college is like. These AP classes have both been successful and stressful for numerous high school students taking these classes. AP classes can give you an edge at the real world but also if not prepare crumble your confidence and give you a wake up call.
